Lund week 52

Christmas Eve 24/12: It’s Christmas Eve and we have a feeling that Santa will be here to pay a visit so make sure to check your door this afternoon to see if he left you a gift! And don´t worry we have already talked to him and all our guests are on his nice-list!

Christmas day 25/12: Cuddle up in our Living Room with some glögg, ginger bread cookies and Christmas treats to watch a Christmas movie and enjoy this wonderful time of year.

26/12 – 30/12: LUNDASPELEN! LUGI Handball is delighted to invite you to the world’s largest indoor tournament in handball for youth players – LUNDASPELEN. Every year handball players gather in Lund for this fantastic tournament. or ask at the front desk to learn more. To all players and supporters staying here we wish you a warm welcome and the best of luck!

Lund week 50

Tuesday 9/12: Sport’s night! Join us in the Living room to cheer for our local team Malmö FF when the they meet the greek team Olympiacos tonight at 8 PM.

Thursday 11/12: It’s Table Tennis Thursday! Bring your friends or meet up with the other guests at StayAt Lund to challenge each other for a game of table tennis, backgammon, chess or carom. See you in the Living room!

Friday 12/12: Lunds Lucia with choir will perform at Saluhallen just three minutes’ walk from StayAt Lund today at 5 PM. Be sure not to miss it!

Friday – Saturday 12-13/12: The 13th of December every year we celebrate Lucia. We dress up in white nightgowns and sing Christmas songs. Sounds crazy? It’s actually great; learn more about this holiday and what’s up with all the candles just ask at the front desk! Today and tomorrow we will serve lussebullar and julmust, a Swedish Lucia tradition.

Wednesday 3/12: Confused by all the Swedish Christmas candy filling up the stores? Don´t worry it will be ok! Today you can try some of the Swedish Christmas favorites with us and choose your own favorite. From 5 pm you can join us in the Livingroom to relax and enjoy some candy.

Thursday 4/12: It’s Table Tennis Thursday! Play table tennis or try a game of chess, backgammon, carom and more. See you in the Livingroom!

Friday 5/12: Make your own gingerbread house! Today we will make the StayAt gingerbread house and you can make your own as well. Never made one before? That´s ok, we will help you and the best part, all the ingredients are edible and delicious!

Lund week 48

Tuesday 25/11: Today we decorate StayAt Lund for Christmas! Come and join us put up the decorations or just check out the wonderful winter wonderland we created when we are done! Enjoy the evening with gingerbread cookies and Swedish julmust for free in the Living room.  We start decorating at 3pm.

Thursday 27/11: It´s Table Tennis Thursday! Apart from table tennis you can also enjoy a game of chess, backgammon, carom and more. See you in the Living room!

Friday 28/11: Have you ever tried Swedish glögg? Well we think you should try some today! We will offer you three different kinds to try out this evening in the Living room. Drinking glögg is a beloved Swedish Christmas tradition and every year there are new flavors available.

Saturday & Sunday 29-30/11: This weekend Christmas arrives to Lund! There will be Christmas markets all over town and you can buy lots of delicious things to eat and drink as well as a variety of homemade and unique Christmas presents.
Don´t miss the traditional Christmas market at Kulturen!

Monday 17/11: Check out our black board in the Living Room to get the “Tip of the week” and see what’s happening in town this week!

Tuesday 18/11: Sport’s night! Sweden vs France, join us in the Living room to watch the game, snacks are on us! The game starts at 9pm.

Friday 21/11: Cozy Friday! Join us in the living room to watch Swedish Idol, cheer for your favorites, eat popcorn and have a classic cozy Friday. One of the swedes most loved and treasured traditions.
