Tips for activities: The Toy Museum Stockholm
Re-opened at a new venue, the museum displays thousands of toys from over a century: dolls, doll´s houses, trains, cars, etc. The museum is located at Tegelviksgatan 22 in Södermalm Go to Slussen and take bus nr.2 to the stop Spårvagnsmuseet. You can also go by bus 55 or 66. Bus 66 has also a stop outside the museum.

To do during the sports holiday 
Hammarbybacken, skiing:
Take your family or friends and go skiing just 30 minutes from here! Ask the front desk for opening hours and prices.

Cinema:
There are numerous of cinemas dispersed over Stockholm, why don’t you go and see for example the new, probably glorious, family movie about Spongebob Squarepants?

The tip of the week: City museum/Stadsmuseet
Over five days of sports holiday are children of all ages welcome at the Museum! They can fool around, dance, jam music and watch theaters, paint, do crafts and go exploring on all three floors of the old house.

Are you planning this weekend in Stockholm with your sweetheart? Then you’ll be in the right place. We’ve gathered a few tips for an exciting romantic experience:

Shrove Tuesday 17 February: Historically, Shrove Tuesday is the last day before the fasting would start and go in until Easter, which also means the last chance to eat the way you use to for 40 days. Swedes celebrate with eating a lot of Semlor (cream bun with almond paste). They will be for sale almost everywhere this time; try one!
