Tips of activities: Elitloppet in Solvalla 29th-31st May
One of the largest harness racing events in the world. Between May 29-31st, more than 50 000 visitors are coming to Solvalla to witness almost 40 races and applaud the horses coming from all over the world. Once a year horse owners, trotting fans and curious visitors meet to create the party that made ​​the Elitlopp known as a sporting event you will return to.

Tips of activities: Amusement Park Gröna Lund
Do you want to have a great day with your kids or your friends? Try the amusement park Gröna Lund. It is located on the seaward side of the Djurgården island has over 30 attractions and is a popular venue for concerts during the summer. It’s very central and easy to get to by tram, bus, ferry, walking or biking. A fantastic place to take the family or friends to enjoy the thrills of the terrifying rides but also to capture some Swedish history and food, possibly even a live act if you’re lucky. You can´t miss out on this while staying in Stockholm!

Friday 15th May: Cozy Friday at 9PM in the living room. Everybody is welcome down, soda and chips is on the house!

Tips of activities: Market in Hornstull on Sunday 17th May
The market in Hornstull takes place every Sunday, (not on Midsummer weekend), May to September from 11 AM to 5PM. You can find hand-made stuff and design, clothes and different items for home and of course plenty of food! Every Sunday there will be around 10 stands with different culinary to feed up all hungry visitors and sellers. The address is: Hornstulls Strand 9.

Tips of activities: Grill party in Kungsträdgården on 9th and 10th May
Open the summer season by visiting the biggest grill party and the only fair in Sweden for Grill and BBQ theme. The hottest trends, products, flavors and news of the summer in Grill, BBQ and Outdoor living will be presented in Kunsträdgården on 9th and 10th May. Eat the grilled food prepared by the best grill master of the Europe, compete in eating the most spicy sausages and try the best barbecue beer and wine of the summer. This is the experience for the whole family, with bouncy castles, slides and some entertainment on the scene, ex. Fat Boy, Albin &The Honky Tonk Express.

Walpurgis night celebration in Stockholm, 30th April
This is the night of the bonfire in Sweden, traditionally believed to ward off evil spirits, but now a festive way of getting rid of excess gardening odds and ends. Skansen, a historical open-air museum in Stockholm, is holding the biggest Walpurgis celebrations in Sweden. The tradition goes back to 1894 and offers a varied content, starting in the afternoon to be rounded off with an atmospheric concert during the late evening. There are plenty of other places around Stockholm where you can celebrate, ex. Götiska tornet in Drottningholm, Ålstensängen in Bromma or Ulrikdals Slottspark in Solna.
