Tips of activities: Try out some sports in Kungsträdgården- One year to Rio. The Olympic days in Kungsträdgården become very popular coming back event. The specific theme of this year is a Brazilian theme with one of the Brazilian sports  as capoeira or rugby.  Everyone is welcome to Kungsträdgården on 6th and 7th August, from 11 to 16PM. Basketball, boxing, golf, handball, hockey, rowing, chess, tennis, athletics, Zumba, capoeira, judo and rugby are some of the sports that will be represented this year. One of the new sports is that you even can try canoeing on the pond. Paralympic Committee  will be there with wheelchair basketball, shooting and curling. The sponsors of the Olympic days offer many funny activities and competitions. If you try on many sports, there are even prices to win! You can meet new and old Olympians like Joachim “Pim Pim” Johansson, Markus Oscarsson, Anna Laurell, Johan Röljer, Lars Lewén and Nathalie Larsson and some more. The inauguration will take place on Thursday 6th August at 12PM and will start with an Olympic march in miniature. Inauguration Speaker’s sports  commissioner is Emilia Bjuggren. On Friday there will be entertainment from the stage at 1PM with Carolina Klüft as compere and the start of the countdown to the Olympic Games in Rio. All activities are for free.

Tips of activities: Hornstulls Market
Hornstulls marknad is an outdoor street market situated in the western part of Södermalm. The market stretches along the waterfront and has become one of Stockholms favorite Sunday activities. Expect to find a variety of vintage, second-hand, art, food trucks and everything else that comes with a proper street market. Open every Sunday 11:00-17:00, May through to September.

Tips of activities: Free storytelling in Marabouparken
4 Thursdays in a row now, starting 16th of July 12 ó clock are free outdoor story times arranged in Marabouparken, a lovely little park in central Sundbyberg, only 15 minutes from Alvik with bus 22A. Let your children listen to nice stories or play in the paddling pool, and take the chance to relax yourselves on a blanket in the grass or have a cup of coffee at the small café.

Week 28

Wednesday 8 July: Join us in the lobby for some games. We will bring out pool table and have some bordgames out for you. We will also have some snacks for you! See you between 6-9.
All week: It’s going to be lovely weekends with loads of sun so why not take a trip to Djurgården. Besides being home to several of Stockholm’s most famous museums and attractions, Djurgården boasts extensive stretches of forest and parkland perfect for peaceful picnics, long walks and blissful bike rides. Come by the reception if you want some ideas of tips of where you can go. Don’t forget that you can take the Djurgårds ferry with the SL card.

Bromma week 26

Friday 26 June: all our guests are welcome to the living room at 7PM for our traditional Cozy Friday! Snacks and soda are on the house.
